How to have a great connection with your child?

Building a strong connection leads to a happy, healthy relationship.

We at SPIRITON Education are committed to helping parents and caregivers develop strong, healthy relationships with the children under their care, thus addressing concerns of misbehaviour and mental health.

Are these the challenges or concerns
you have with your child?

01.

Misbehaviour

Is your child engaged in behaviour which is disrespectful or causes harm to others? This includes using foul language or name-calling, yelling and hitting, and throwing things at others.

02.

Isolation or Avoidance

Is your child avoiding you or your spouse, and even other siblings? Do they keep to themselves in their room and do not talk or share about anything to you?

03.

Non-Cooperation

Does your child not want to engage willingly to do things required of him or her? Do they often defy what you say and do something completely opposite than what is expected or required of them?

04.

Self-Esteem

Does your child have a negative view of himself or herself? Do they always feel they are not good enough or do not have the confidence to do things or try something new?

Books & Articles

Here are several books and articles which are useful for your parenting/caregiving journey.

For twenty-five years, Positive Discipline has been the gold standard reference for grown-ups working with children. Now Jane Nelsen, distinguished psychologist, educator, and mother of seven, has written a revised and expanded edition.

Parenting under the best of circumstances can be difficult.  In this book, renowned child-development expert Dr. Karyn Purvis gives you practical advice and powerful tools you can use to encourage secure attachment in your family.

This practical book explores the factors that influence children’s behaviour in the early years, enabling practitioners, parents and carers to develop a better understanding and become more intuitive and confident in supporting their development and learning in the first five years.

Happy Clients

Throughout the years, many parents have been grateful for the advice we have offered for them to understand their children better and connect with them. Particularly, they appreciate the importance of regularly spending quality time with their children and adopting the R.I.C.H. framework.  Here’s what some of the parents have to say.

The seminar was useful for me to understand why my son keeps being stubborn. I realise that I have to connect with him first by spending time with him.
