Positive Discipline

Positive discipline is at the heart of positive behaviour and for effective adult-child relationships. It is essential in developing positive self-esteem, understanding roles and responsibilities better, and fostering healthier adult-child bonds and relationships. Positive discipline is also about effective communication, empathy, and respect for both the adult and the child, and thus effectively sets the foundation for good character, habits, and positive interactions in life. This workshop seeks to discuss the principles of positive discipline, and the ways in which it can be developed in the classroom and at home.
